Journal of Tropical Science and Engineering (JTSE) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Joint Vietnam–Russia Tropical Science and Technology Research Center. The journal serves as a global platform for the dissemination of high-quality scientific and engineering research related to tropical, subtropical, and comparable extreme environments worldwide.

JTSE publishes original research that advances fundamental understanding, methodological innovation, and applied solutions in science and engineering, with relevance extending beyond specific geographic or institutional contexts.

JTSE operates in accordance with Vietnamese regulations on press and scientific publishing and is officially authorized under Publishing Permit No. 91/GP-BTTTT, issued on 09 April 2024 by the Ministry of Information and Communications of Viet Nam.
