Manuscript Preparation
1. Structure
Manuscripts should generally include the following sections:
- Title
- Abstract
- Keywords
- Introduction
- Materials and Methods (or Methodology)
- Results
- Discussion
- Conclusions
- Acknowledgements (if applicable)
- Funding Statement
- Statement on the use of Generative AI
- Author contributions
- Conflict of Interest Declaration
- References
2. Abstract and Keywords
- Abstract length: approximately 250–300 words
- Abstract should clearly state:
- Objectives
- Methods
- Key results
- Scientific significance
- Provide 5–7 keywords not already included in the title
3. Figures and Tables
- Figures and tables must be clear, properly labeled, and cited in the text
- Each figure and table should have a concise, descriptive caption
- Image manipulation that may misrepresent data is strictly prohibited
4. References
- References must be complete and accurate
- Authors are responsible for ensuring consistency and correctness
- Use internationally recognized citation practices appropriate to the discipline
5. Ethical Standards and Authorship
5.1. Authorship Criteria
Authorship should be based on substantial contributions to:
- Study conception and design
- Data acquisition, analysis, or interpretation
- Drafting or revising the manuscript
- Approval of the final version
All listed authors must agree to the submitted version and the order of authorship.
5.2. Conflicts of Interest
Authors must disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest that could influence the research or its interpretation.
5.3. Research Ethics
- Research involving humans or animals must comply with relevant ethical regulations and approvals
- Appropriate ethical approval information must be included in the manuscript
JTSE follows the ethical guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
6. Editorial Decisions
Possible editorial decisions include:
- Accept
- Minor Revision
- Major Revision
- Reject
Authors receiving revision requests are expected to:
- Address all reviewer comments point-by-point
- Clearly indicate changes made in the revised manuscript
7. Open Access and Licensing
JTSE is a fully open-access journal.
- All published articles are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY)
- Authors retain copyright of their work
- Proper attribution is required for any reuse
8. Plagiarism and Misconduct
- All submissions may be screened for plagiarism
- Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism, redundant publication, or data manipulation will be rejected
- Serious cases may be reported according to ethical guidelines
9. Submission Process
- Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system
- Authors should ensure that:
- The manuscript is anonymized for double-blind review
- All required metadata are correctly entered
10. Data Availability and Transparency
Authors are encouraged to:
- Provide access to underlying data when possible
- Clearly describe data availability in a dedicated statement
11. Indexing and Visibility
JTSE assigns Digital Object Identifiers (DOI) to all published articles and ensures long-term digital archiving.
The journal is actively working toward inclusion in international indexing services, including:
