Journal of Tropical Science and Engineering (JTSE)

       Journal of Tropical Science and Engineering (JTSE) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Joint Vietnam–Russia Tropical Science and Technology Research Center, based in Hanoi, Vietnam. The journal serves as a global platform for high-quality scientific and technological research addressing challenges in tropical and extreme environments.

       JTSE welcomes submissions from researchers worldwide and evaluates all manuscripts solely on the basis of scientific quality, originality, and relevance, regardless of authors’ institutional or national affiliations.

       Focus and Scope (Snapshot)

      JTSE promotes interdisciplinary research with a primary focus on tropical ecology and environmental sciences, and complementary coverage of chemistry and materials sciences and biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences.

       The journal particularly encourages integrative, field-based, and problem-oriented studies with international relevance that contribute conceptual, methodological, or practical advances beyond purely local or descriptive case studies.

      Open Access, Peer Review, and Publishing Standards

       JTSE is a fully open-access journal. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) License, allowing unrestricted use with proper attribution.

        All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process conducted by independent experts. Editorial decisions are made transparently and in accordance with internationally recognized publishing ethics and best practices.

       All published articles are assigned Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to ensure persistent identification and citation.

      Digital Preservation

     JTSE ensures long-term digital preservation and sustainable accessibility of its published content through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), operated by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP). The journal has activated PKP PN within its Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, providing permanent and distributed archiving of all published articles.
